Hi, I went and did some pics. As you will see, ours has a couple of design problems.
Guinea pigs obviously like to pee and poo out of the entrances - here with rather spectacular results, so we had to tape the rim of the correx back in, top and bottom! mallethead
It would be better, if you had a little horizontal plat form at the top of the ramp and didn't leave any gaps for "house number marking"! Also make sure that the support at the back is not sticking out and getting in the way of the ramp...rolleyes
My hubby is thinking about making a new, better designed ramp after Christmas.
So, and now I better go and clean up the mess! mallethead
We have a plywood base for the whole cage that juts out in the back to accommodate the ramp as well. WE just set the ramp on the plywood until it sits flush with the cage. It's too heavy for the piggies to move, but we can lift it off separately if we need to!
