hi, would anyone have the measurements for each individual grid for the wickes storage cubes (pack of 16 pieces) i just want to be able to calculate the amount of packs i will need for a 6ft x 2ft cage. many thanks

I think they are about 12 inches/1 foot each. If so, you would need 16 just for the first floor. I'd go for 2 packs to start with, you can have an experiment with them, make your 6x2 and try and make another level (but at least you will have the first floor done for Friday. Also, if they are a bit smaller than 12 inches you will still have enough to make the ground floor.

Mine weren't from wickes, they are 14 inches, some big squares (around the sides) and some fine mesh (ladder and extra side bits).

I'm not sure on size (12" or 14" I'd say), but in the picture they are all mesh panels, no grids, so you would have no where to hang the water bottle from. They have come down in price though, when they first got them on the site they were £24.99 a pack.

There could be other ways to hold the water bottle though. I saw someone had what looked like a kitchen towel cardboard roll with the bottle inside it so it could stand up.

Yes thats true - Or you could ask for 1 grid panel from someone on here and just have the one placed where ever the bottle was going to go.

You could screw a bicycle water bottle holder to a piece of wood through one of the mesh grids and put a big bunny sized bottle in that. I got two from the 99p shop last week for bunny's cage (idea borrowed from Shrikopanik's brilliant cage on wheels).

Yoy took my advice then Yey.I can tell you the exact measurements 14inches by 14 inches and i have my water bottle cable tied to the inside of the cage a small loop underneath to keep the bottle off the floor.and a larger slacker loop on the top that can hold the bottle in place but come over the top of the bottle to put it in or take it out.I can post pics if you want.

on my babies cage i have a high sided kitchen area i have cut a circle through the correx and through the grid and secured it to the outside this is only because my babies are very very destructive and love the taste of cable ties.again i can post a pic if you require x
