It is just so cruel someone would do something like this. A few days ago, five pigs were found in a box on the side of the highway! The were taken to the shelter and were put up for adoption yesterday. Unfortunatly, one passed away in their possession. I'm going to go check them out today. Maybe I can adopt one for one of my boars. I just hate anyone who would ever think of leaving them there!

Some people are just awful.

One of my past boys was found in a cardboard box in a field by a dog walker on a horribly cold snowy day. He was with 12 other pigs and all they had for warmth was each other and a plastic pigloo.

Why would you do that? At least take them to a shelter or just give them to someone to deal with.

Another of my pigs was found wandering the busy town centre streets on a Sunday morning. The poor sausage had a seizure when he was found and taken to the vet.

I just can't even imagine doing anything like that.

I also struggle to understand how anyone could be so heartless as to abandon these defenseless creatures.
I hate to imagine how many are simply dumped and never found.

I really hope you are able to find a friend fro your boar, but if the piggies you mention were only found a few days ago, surely they will be in quarantine for a while yet?

I checked them out today. The one I was interested in is so beautiful with an amazing personality. He is incredibly skinny, but his coat looks healthy. My mom said maybe.
