why wont my girls cuddle together

i have seen loads of photos of piggies on here , all cuddled up together :)
why wont mine do it! :(
they are both sows & are not related , one is a month older than the other
i would love to see them cuddled up in the cage together , instead susie lies in the hay & ginger lies under the pink stool , when they are out for floor time they lie seperately too :(
 
Many piggies do not cuddle together but it does not mean they are not close. Your little ones just like their own space. There is nothing to worry about. :)

i was thinking that things maybe would escalate to a fall out or something
they have lived together for 9 months so they should be used to each other by now rolleyes
 
My two girls don't cuddle with each other either...they will eat peacefully together and rarely really get really snippy with each other with a strong display of dominance (only one time with teeth chattering and lunging a few weeks ago)...but the dominant one rumble struts every time the other one gets near her and the less dominant one squeaks at her and does submissive gestures (or pees in her face mallethead ).

They have been together since February and are about 10 months old.

Sometimes I think 'they are just not that into each other'

Although I think they would be lonely by themselves for sure...they talk to each other all day.
 
my two have the occasional teeth chatter moments & squeaking quietly at each other
they eat peaceful together too
if i have one out without the other they squeak at each other loads & really loud so i guess they like each other but not enough to cuddle together rolleyes
 
Some of my piggies are snugglers, but many aren't and we are having our fair share of spats. That doesn't mean that they are not firmly bonded though!

You see more snuggle pics on here than in reality because it is something to be chuffed about when it happens!
 
My girls are the same way, they will not snuggle. If Lillith gets near Rusty, Rusty will get snappy and will nip at Lillith and Lillith backs down.
 
My 4 girls are the same. They eat, play etc together, but when they want to cozy down they all go to separate places. Nicola x
 
Mine only snuggle together when they are with me on the bed. If they have floor time in my bed room, one will be asleep at one end of the room and the other at the other end. They make out they don't need each other but as soon as they can't see each other they squeak out at the top of their little voices; "where are you? i can see you!"
