Why its important for boars to have space!

as you may have realised by now boar ownership is full of erm... fun! There will come a time though that even the most stable of pairings will have fallings out even with 8sq feet to share they can still argue this is why its kind to let boars have more room we recently doubled bill and bens hutch with C&C out to 20 sq feet and they have atuomatically stopped bickering!
 
Agreed! Pleased they are happier now that they have a bigger space! xx>>>
 
yes very true for the boars and also I find its the same with the females too :)) more space the better and less arguements :(|)

My girlies are more relaxed in their new huge c&c cage :))

ive also found that having more than one bowl of biscuits is helpful too :(|):))
 
I made a large hay area off their fleece area for one of my pair of boars and with them busy foraging they have less time bickering :))
 
in having gps for over 4 years, i have only ever once had success with keepign 2 boars together, one pair who were recently together for 5 years, unfortunatley one passed away, but Dylan who is still alive is blind so if never tried to fight, now he lives with suzy a spayed female - but in the past i have had so many fights with different boars.
