I have a 4ft by 2ft cage. Each side has a separate upper shelf. There are pellets on each shelf and each morning I give each boy a dish of veg, one on each shelf. Exactly the same in each. My question is, why does Basil always leave one shelf to go to the other shelf and eat from the dish that Snowball is eating from?

Why do children always want what the other one has? Incase it's something better.

Guinea Pigs are really selfish animals, someone may have something better!
