I have FINALLY found a detergent that works! (Fairy non-bio). I've washed my fleece several times with various stuff but the water just sits on top. Last night I washed it once in Fairy and when I tested it the water passed straight through :)

Do I need to wash it twice more now the fleece has wicked? I assumed it is advised to wash three times because it takes that long to fully wick? What is your view on this? Can I start making my liners, or should I still wash them twice more? Also do I need to wash my water proof middle or can I just leave that?

Thanks :D x

I would recommend to at least wash once more and would recommend to do so at a higher temperature to make sure that you don't have major problems with shrinkage later on.

How often you have to wash before use depends on what kind of fleece and detergent you are using.
