Why is he acting like this?

hi all,something has changed with Smokey and i dont know why or how,i went to pick him up last night and he seemed awkward with me touching him,then he rumbled and it got deeper and deeper,i then took him to the lounge for cuddles and he chatted his teeth furiously until i put him back,all the hair on his neck was standing on end to like he does when he gets grumpy,i have also done a quick health check and cannot find a medical reason for it,what have i done wrong?

George did this for a couple of days in a row up until a few days ago. For no reason he started doing it to me both rumbling and agressive teeth chattering and also started standing in the corners of his cage on his food bowl and toys so he was high up and chattering at the walls. It was very wierd and he wasn't doing it anywhere near his girlfriend Tia or when the guys downstairs were moving around.

He's stopped now so think he was just in a grump. Hopefully that Smokey is just in a grump too xx
 
Did you smell of somepig else? Or some other animal?
 
I tried to post here yesterday but internet disappeared. rolleyes

It's possible that he was just grumpy and didn't fancy being held, in which case he should cheer up and be back to normal within a day or two. If he carries on like this, I would consider if his skin's a bit sensitive. Might seem like a random question, but how old is he?
 
I dont have any words of wisdom but hope it all sorts itself out soon.

yes i did had to get ava to docs this morning so i missed out on pm'ing everyone sorry:red.
Smokey seems fine the only thing i can say is that i think he is grumpy,strange but he just looks mad not sick:{

He's still growing up, typical teenager...might explain it!

hi thanks laura yes i think it is boy stage,i went to pick him up today and i didnt even touch him before he rumbled at me againrolleyes,will let you know about Ava xxxxxxxxxxxxx
