I had the girls on my knee yesterday and they were loving the attention. I noticed that Lizzy kept having a nibble at Connie's ear. I don't think it was hurting her as she was squeaking etc just pulling away. I have noticed her do this before at cuddle time. Is it just because she was after more attention from me or something else? I don't want bullying to start and I don't want either of them getting hurt :(

have no idea as to why connie is doing this but perhaps use a squirt water gun everytime she does it will stop her from doing it. or you could have food treats with you to take her mind of eliza's ear. is it just the one ear or both that is being chewed? hoping things settle down with your girls, are they in their teenage phrase? 6-12 months of age? hoping in time things settle down. sending hugs to you and your cheeky girls :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

Is she actually biting it? Two of my pigs groom one another on the ears like that.

Piggies aren't smart enough to understand the water gun thing so I wouldn't advise that, think it would just scare them!

Some of mine do this, it's like a grooming thing which goes a bit far, or maybe the groomee is over reacting ;D but It might be a dominance thing to say I like you, I'll groom you, but I'm the boss ;D

My Kim is always grooming her sister Katie's ears, and Katie appears to enjoy it,unless Kim gets too enthusiastic, when Katie nose buts her!
