Why does she do this?

Ever since Bridget lost Molly she is being spolit rotten, I get her out of her cage every day for an hour in the afternoon for snuggle time. She sits on my lap (on a towel ) and will snuggle up and go to sleep whilst I am stroking her. When I stop stroking her she turns her head around and continually licks any part of me she can get her tongue on until I resume stroking her, as soon as I stop she starts to lick me again....any ideas why she does this?
