In general, Elliot is "house trained" when I have him out of the cage. He is allowed to explore my bedroom, and has piece of material (it's actually a hammock) in one corner which he is allowed to pee and poo on. Which he does, and I'm very proud of him lol.
HOWEVER ... I've noticed that when he is in a particularly good mood, he tends to pull the hammock away from the wall and fold it up into a little parcel for reasons that I just can't figure out.

Any idea why he does this? :{

Some piggies really love to rearrange their furniture to their liking!

I have found that it helps a lot if you give a piggy something to work out its destructive streak on from time to time - cardboard, twigs etc. are ideal.

Maybe he's looking for something underneath. Or, something mine do is to pull up the edge of the fleece, and push their way under it.

wow, what a clever piggy! Wish mine were house trained. Maybe its similar to when cats bury their business hes trying to hide it?!
