Why Do We Do It?!

I'm suffering the biggest hangover ever. Was the OH's birthday last night so we enjoyed a meal with a few of the family then it moved to drinks and more drinks. I endulged in a few bottles of wine ::) and now I feel like death warmed up for it!

I'd say 'I'm never drinking again' but I know that's a lie and won't last long ;)

Why do we put ourselves through this ;D
 
awww *hugs* i dont, I'm 20 and i dont drink v much at all lol when i was 18 id go out n get mad, but i feel ill for like 3-4 days after drinking so i gave it up, i didnt feel hungover i was really ill, think maybe I'm allergic to it lol
 
LMAO I don' get drunk ;) Ok, there was one time and I almost ended up in the canal............. but :P
 
aww poor you it was mIcks birthday yesterday as well so we are going out with kids and friends for a sunday meal at a pub but as his a driving instructor he cant drink it stays in your body too long and he wont take risks hes got work tomorrow, hope you feel better soon,
 
I know how you feel love and i sympathise

Wine is my drink of choice and i can put it away as well. We do it coz we enjoy it :D

I have been sober for four and a half years now ;D ;D ;D
 
I don't drink now either. Neither of us drink the house and never (hardly ever never!) go out anymore with us having DD.. don't miss it either!
 
I rarely drink hate wine but Mick keeps being given it from grateful pupils, today I had J20s as usual did try some rum punch on holiday but it burnt my throat but in a nice way lol to be honest I'm not really a drinker never have been, parents never had it in the house and dad only ever had larger and lime so never really got into it, Mick only drinks bitter anyway, and I cannot be around drunks they freak me out :tickedoff:
 
Well I very rarely drink,the only drink I like is Wine or Vodka sometimes so when I have a few drinks it goes straight to my head as I'm lickle and a lightweight so it affects me easily :D

You'll all be happy to know I feel fresh as a daisy now after a 2 and 1/2 hour nap this afty ;D

Err can sympathise with you, i do that everynow and then too, it's like you're having fun and before you know it xx0
I bet you're a lovely drunk tho, not agressive or anything, do you get the giggles or just talkative. I get talkative ;D ;D ;D ;D yep even more than i am normally ;D ;D ;D
