Why Do I Even Bother With Bowls

I don't have this problem. Instead "one" of mine likes to wee in the veggie bowl sometimes!

oh dear, hehe. Mine are fine with the bowls, it's the hay from the rack that gets showered everywhere:whistle:

I gave up putting veg in bowls as they wouldn't eat it. Won't eat pellets unless they are in a bowl. :hb::own:.

I have given up with bowls, I just scatter it.

I took the bowls out after this pic and just rearranged their pellets in a type of line. They ate them faster than they ever eaten them before! Normally takes them about 9 hours to finish. It's now 2 hours after I put the pellets down and there are only 5 left!

you need some heavy ceramic bowls that they cannot tip up!still can wee in them thoughh !:shh:

I can't find any :(

My boys won't eat them unless they're in a bowl. Tho they enjoy doing both pee and tipping them over. They also refuse to use a hay rack or hay bag so that also must go in bowls :hb:

I got my ceramic bowl from b&m for £1.99 and they stand on it without moving it, plus usually eat out of it.
Might be worth a shot for a trial run.

Thanks, I'm in South Africa so no B&M here.

Dished the pellets into a bowl this morning just to carry them to the cage, then sprinkled them out into a line and the piggies seemed happy with that.

I got my pellet bowl from the petstore, it's a weighted bowl of some description. I think it's meant for a cat, but eh they can't tip it over :))
