hi guys how are you doing ? i was just wondering if in a sow only herd does there have to be one dominant piggy ? our 3 seem to get on fine (usual nips ,chin ups ,sqeeky protests and the occational kick out). but of the two older piggies i cant make out who's the boss. not important just curious. ive never seen mounting from any of them ,the only definate is the daughter of one of the older piggys is not in the equation for dominance," i know my place".they are all now over 2 years old now very settled this is just curiosity. has anyone had any other experiences of a peacefull ? dominance ?

In my experience there is always a boss but the boss may not be so dominant that is is obvious. With my girls I know it is Sophie as the others will groom her and she often nips them when she is in a sulk!

To me, usually the boars are more likely to show dominance. With them, you can usually easily tell who's boss. You could try and observe who usually wins the chin ups, chases off the others, or rumble struts. Hope I helped :)
