Found these rings on an american website, but for 18ct whitegold we would pay 740 pound for those two rings..

do you know any websites or jewellers (preferably UK based but doesnt matter that much) that do rings similar to these? Not necessarily with the stone, but with celtic design. They should be whitegold aswell, and be less than 740 :)

Any ideas?

Hi, I don't know where you are but you can normally get anything you are after at really reasonable prices in the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham (I think that's where the jewellery is made for a lot of the country too) - might be worth a day trip? ? :)

edited to add: Actually, i'm pretty sure if you take a picture or something in you could get it made there - it might be worth looking into that first though before travelling if you're a long way away ;)

my brother and his wife had their rings custom made at the jewellery quarter in Birmingham. Similiar sort of thing that you want. Its well worth a look.

thank you! O0

my boyfriend is asking if the jewellery quarter is an area of Birmingham that has lots of jewellery shops, or is it the name of ONE particular shop in Birmingham?

It's an area of Birmingham that has a lot of outlets-it is well worth a look

Lots and Lots of jewellery shops! It's the name fpr the area of Birmingham where the jewellery is made, and there are many shops there, i would be very surprised if it wasn't worth your while going!

Id say that £740 for both rings is reasonable for the spec that you want on both

My OHs wedding ring is white gold and has cost £899 just for his alone

My mum is a celtic freak :) so i showed her the rings and she LOVES them lol... :smitten:

Alas I don't know much about jewellery, but those are gorgeous celtic-style rings. My Mum would love them. X3

There is an excellent company called Clogau Gold here in wales that do beautiful celtic rings in varying carats and colours :) Their website is www.clogau.co.uk - me and OH looked at them but we are very broke so got plain white gold rings off ebay instead for the princely sum of £70 for two O0

We had a look at the clogau site, loved that rosegold celtic ring (eternal love I think it is) and ordered them.
Then we tried them on at the jewellers, and I loved it - but my OH thought it was too thin, he would have preferred a wider band and they only do one size :(

then I suggested the ones with silver leaves, but he didnt like that either, and the irish ones he didnt like because of the obvious shamrock, even though he is irish..

so I suppose Clogau is not quite what he wants :( But I think they are absolutely wonderful!

Sure, the seller is artebarca: http://feedback.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=artebarca&ftab=AllFeedback

They even engraved the two rings inside for free, and we could choose the font from a limited selection. They came pretty quick too from the US, about 2 weeks from paying. They are lovely rings, can't wait to wear mine :smitten: only 6 months to go frm tomorrow!
