white spots on fleece

where my new female piggies have peed on the fleece the fleece has turned white, any idea why?

It's their wee!

Guinea pigs and rabbits usually have cloudy/milky urine because of the calcium in their diet and it can make the fleece look white in some areas It will come out when you wash it though


Also, if the urine is at all gritty or sludgy looking then you need to cut back on things containing calcium as it indicates too much calcium in their diet and it can lead to kidney stones

Calcium deposits most likely.

You may need to alter the diet to ensure a balanced diet in terms of lowering calcium. There's a good link in the food section for a balanced diet.

Thanks! Will try and make sure they have the correct diet as I'm not sure they had the right veggies in the dare I say it pet shop.
