White C&C - Are there any UK suppliers?

I was just wondering whether anyone knew of anywhere in the UK that stock white storage cubes? I've tried a bit of a search on here, but haven't seen any posts.

i never saw any when i was searching. the occasional black one but mostly they were silver.

I was hoping for a nice bright cage. I've seen some black ones and then there are the silver or grey ones. Hmmm. White would have been nicer.
 
What about grey/silver ones? I have those for my c&c and i have white correx so it brightens it up. I also know that you can get green or yellow correx from sign shops but it is slightly dearer than black or white. :) x

I want white correx :) I'm hoping it will act like when we paint the ceilings white and reflect it back down. I don't mind the silver/grey or black ones, I would just prefer the white so thought I'd ask on the off chance that someone knew of a secret shop somewhere.

I'd like to paint the wooden batons, frame etc the same colour as the grid, that's the only thing with the silver/grey ones... It might look a bit blurgh!

Although, having said that, if the correx is white, I could paint them white I suppose. *Thinking cap on...*

Sorry i must have read it wrong and thought you meant white cubes! :))

I got my white correx from a local sign shop that made the for sale signs for estate agents and i got a great deal i paid £18 for 2 HUGE sheets! Maybe worth a try for you, i looked on yell.com and typed in sign makers and my postcode and then i rung them all for the best deal.

Its worth the ringing round, but then you need a van to collect it unless they may delivery. :)

I love mine white as it goes with everything and its bright. I'm thinking of putting stickers on it too. :(|)

Hehe! I did mean the cubes :) I need to find white correx too there, regardless of the coloured cubes. The place I got my black correx from was about £16 for 1 sheet I think. And they charged me £8 to deliver :( But this time round I'll definately want white so I need to rethink. The place I got it from before does do white as standard but I think I could get it cheaper elsewhere. Contacted TeaCratePackaging, but they only do black. Hmmm.
 
Definitely have a search on yell.com as I'm sure there will be a sign makers near you that will give you a good deal! As sometimes they spare sheets left over and sell them cheap. :)
 
I've seen white correx loads of places, but of course I buy in bulk. From what I've seen though, white is usually the cheapest!
I've never seen any white cubes I'm afraid :(
 
i totally forgot to give * a look at my correx didnt i?! grrr if its anygood * mre than welcome! a thank you for your awesome help with yumyum! * could sway spray paint the grey grids white but cz mine are chewers i wouldnt risk it! or try macro?! x

Hi Amy :) Thanks! I might take you up on the correx and you might have to show me where that sign makers is too! Looks like Piggy Apartments is going to be a go-er! (I really hope!) Think I'm going to have to compromise and have them in their own room though instead of the lounge :( Although on the plus side, that would be the piggy proofed room and they can mooch about on the floor without me fretting!

I totally understand your want for white, I would do white and white too, if I could get the supplies at all! I think my second choice would be the chrome ones Lura has used for her cages. Keep us updated! I love cage constuction posts!

I would have preferred the chrome ones too as a second choice, but at £25 + VAT and P&P per packet, I don't have the funds to go to that length :(

I put a trial 2x5 up in the lounge, just one level on the floor to see, with the matt grey panels I had left and it looked ok actually. I might paint the wood on the outside of the cage cream of something. We shall see :)
 
I am no help at all but I was looking at the hutch gallery and noticed Kingborrisandhisfolowers had white C&C grids so maybe you could pm them
