Which hay is best

Hello sorry for the 100th question I was wondering if there is better overall hay… I am currently buying pets at home Timothy and meadow mix?

also my 4 piggies seem to flatten their hay box super fast lots of wee and poo I change it twice daily morning and night but I’m throwing out quite a lot of hay due to fear of them consuming hay that’s urine/poo ridden, they have a hay feeder but much prefer to jump in their hay box many thanks x

Any grass hay which is green, not dusty, not mouldy is fine. Where you buy it from is personal preference. I personally get mine on subscription from Haybox.

The wastage, flattening, pooping in hay etc is normal for piggies. As you are doing, change the hay daily.
You are going to throw a lot away though.
They will prefer to be amongst big piles of hay and not use restrictive hay racks
