Where to put heat pad?

Hi all, it's the first winter for my little piggies and I have purchase a snugglesafe head pad for them. Seems a silly question, but do I put this under their hidey house where I know they spend all night, or just in the sleeping section of the hutch? I wasn't sure whether it would be too hot for them to sit on when it first goes in?

Whoever they spend most of their time, so I guess sleep section. I have a couple in their cages to stop any fighting over them.

Thank you. They have a sleeping section but both sleep inside a wooden house in there...just wasn't sure if they would want it directly under their house or not.

I would just put it in the sleeping section as if you put it in the house, they'll be forced to sit on it when they go in the house if you know what I mean.

My four girls live free range in a shed. They have two big wooden lazy bones houses in there and I put a snugglesafe in each but they have plenty of room so they can either sit on it, near it or away from it but are still able to sleep in the house which is essentially the same size as a large sleeping section of a 6 to 7ft hutch.

You could always try the snugglesafe in the house and see what they prefer but i find its nice to give them an option
