I have my girls in the garage, in a hutch. But recently since we were having the garage roof being re-done, we bought a c&c cage, and my mum agreed to let them come inside for the whole of the winter! She fell in love with them being inside.
C&c cages are great, you can purchase you grids and correx, not forgetting cable ties from ebay and amazon. You can try to compromise them coming inside for the cooler months, they really feel the cold, even in a garage.
-More interaction, piggies will be more happy.
-Warmer during winter months.
-Easier to spot illness.
-Offer to pay for the c&c.

I kept my last guinea pigs in a hutch in my garage but now I want to keep my New Guinea pigs inside in a c and c cage. My parent however don't like the idea! How can I persuade them or compromise with them as I want my guinea pigs to have the best life possible!
