Does anyone know where I can buy the black plastic guards to protect correx from cheeky nibblers?
I have bought two separate sets of plastic slide binders (sold for binding paper) on the internet but both are impossible to actually get on to the correx. They are really hard to prise open.
I need some like the ones that C and C Guinea Pig Cages put on their ramps. I could contact them directly but I thought it might be cheaper to get some elsewhere. Any ideas?

Sorry, I've only ever used the plastic binder type. You're right, they are a pain! The bigger ones are easier to put on. I only prise open the one end then slide them on. Try using rubber gloves for extra grip.

Thanks @Tim The problem is the nibblers have already chewed some holes in the correx so I cannot slide the binders along and whilst I am trying to coax the binder over the gap the first end pops off. I might have to stick with my current method - toilet roll tubes cut down one side and placed over the correx. They also occasionally get chewed but are cheap and easy to replace. Doesn't look quite as stylish though!

Gorgeous piggies in your avatar by the way, they look too sweet and innocent to do such demolition:wub:

Thank you :-) They tell me they are just "investigating".

How on earth did you manage to get them all sat there like that? I'll never know! :))

They were all squeaking for veg and standing on the edge of the hay tray so they could try and see me as soon as I entered the room from the kitchen. The noise of the camera shutter startled them slightly and they sat frozen for a second or two while I took a couple of pictures. The secret was a good zoom lens - if I had got any closer they would have come running for pepper.

Anyway, it seems I've derailed this topic somewhat:whistle::))
