Where Do You Put Your Guineas During The Winter?

Hi, where do your outside piggies go during the winter? I'm facing my first winter with my piggies and I plan on putting them in the garage (no car) as our garage has an internal door among other good reasons for putting them in there.
Can you please share you winter top tips with us newbies please on how you heat and light your shed/garage etc any tips gratefully received :)
 
I have an extension lead through to my shed, there is a double socket on the shed wall from which I have a low energy light fitting and an oil filled radiator. During the winter when its blowing a gale, I go in the shed, bolt the door behind me, listen to the radio in the warm and light, and clean the hutches in comfort. ;)

Sounds perfect :) I think mine would need a wine rack and a comfy chair too ;)
 
I like the garage idea as well as your utility room idea (lol). I think the garage is good if you can't have them in the house as it's sheltered from the elements. :)
 
I am just looking at indoor cages - Ferplast 120 Casita. Although hadn't thought of having them inside my husband worried my daughter might be less likely to go out to them.... Unfortunatly our garage too stuffed with things!!
 
I have my piggies in a playhouse shed at the moment. In winter months I plan to put in a hutch inside the playhouse for them to snuggle in with lots of hay and newspaper. I cover the playhouse in greenhouse bubblewrap making sure it fits over front with plenty of air gap. They have always been fine and warmx
 
My piggies live in our office during autumn/winter. Their indoor cages are a bit smaller than their outdoor ones, but I'm sure they appreciate being nice and warm over space! Have a bit of a dilemma this year though as our puppy sleeps in a pen in the office over night...right where we put the cages!
