I'm going to be extending my 4x2 C&C into a 5x2 with a 1x2 loft and I need to get hold of some more fleece. :(|)The fleece I currently have was from a fabric store and I've got one metre of sky blue and one metre of white. I don't really want to buy from there again as it was quite expensive, also they only sold plain fleece I want some patterned fleece with polka dots or cool designs etc.pow-pow
SO where do you get your fleece from?

Ebay's good, you can buy it by the meter and there's loads of different patterns and designs. I've got a few of my fleeces from Primark, they're surprisingly good quality; I got a fleece there nearly 4 years ago and it's still going strong!

How much are they there and do they have any nice designs?

My fleeces are Primark buys too. When I got mine 4 years ago they were £4 for 2 I think. I also have a zebra striped one from there which is thicker and really nice, that cost me a fiver I think. I have a pink spotty one, a purple-pinky stripey one and my zebra striped one, plus 2 plain ones I use underneath :)

I have found that Poundland sells fleece, guess how much it is! :)) It has paw prints all over it.

Normal fleece, any sort of blankets, either pet or just normal fleece throws.

Use it with a towel underneath to absorb any wee and change every 3 days, a nice comfy bedding with no risk of any respiratory infections or anything like you can get from the dust in sawdust.

In Germany, there is a very cheap clothes shop called Kik and they have fleece blankets as well. We buy ours there since there is a Kik-shop just around the corner from where we live.

I just found out that Dunelm Mill sell nice patterned fleece at around £2.50 they also sell cheap towels which I also need, and even better there is one really near to me.

I popped in to dunelm mill today as we are buildig a c and c this week and need bigger lengths of fleece. I got 2 fleexe 2m pet blankets for 2.99 each and 2 for 1.99 each. The vheaper ones are a bit thin but will do for wash days etc. The pet blanckets are nice thick fleece.

I have 1 pink spotty fleece from Primark. I don't tend to keep the girls on fleece that often, but I have done so a few times! I also have some from B and M bargains, I have 2 purple ones that were in a pack for 3.99 I think and a green polka dot one which is bigger, and thicker for 4.99.

I popped into Dunelm yesterday but didn't see any cheap ones, will have to look harder!

Being new to guinea pig owner can i just ask ( bearing in mind they will be indoor guinea pigs and in a big cage )

Are you using the fleece in the cage and having hay in the bedding area ?

Do you put any hay on the fleece, or just let them mooch about on the fleece ?

i work at matalan and they just got some new fleeces in stock, i like the zebra fleece, am going to get some soon and make more cage liners and snugglys :)
