Dear All,

Please can I pick your brains - I am thinking of using a fleece or vetbed liner in our indoor cage (currently a furplast 100, although tempted by a modular C & C one) and wondered - are there any recommended suppliers or do you make your own?

I have also seen lots of pictures of snuggles, beds, hammocks, pigloos and wondered where was the best place to look for these too as our local pet shop (attached to the vets) only has a limited selection.

Thanks

There's lots of places, www,cavycouture.co.uk is one and if you are on Facebook I buy from Snoozies Cozies, her stuff is reasonably priced and great quality. There are others too which am sure other members will remember.

You could make a fleece forest by putting a fleece over the cage and dangling the fleece through the bars in strips. They love cardboard boxes filled with hay and veggies.

I make most of my own things. I have a ten square foot c&c cage which I have found very much worth the extra time and money. I would recommend a c&c cage.

Ass for the pigloosm hammocks and beds, a great website to check out is piggypigpigs.com and the piggypigpigs youtube page. You can order custom made beds and pigloos, that arnt too expensive.

Just wanted to recommend the piggy pods, fab and sturdy. My girls love them the best out of all their cosies, and actually use them as they should. :)

Thanks everyone - some great links and advice (I think I will be spending quite a bit of time looking at all that over the next few days) :)

I have two piggies - one c. 1year and 1 c. 6 weeks - just got them from a rescue (we lost our old boar about 18 months ago to old age and have only just felt able to 'replace' him). Have gone for girlies this time for a total change, they are currently getting to know each other.

Hi, Welcome to the forum :)

No more advice to add than what you've got above. Kimlous liners are ace from experience.

With fleece though always wash it around 3 times before first use as it increases it wicking away properties and never wash with softener.
