Ok as some of you may already know I am halfway through converting my shed to house my Guinea pigs,
I had to stop due to covid as I couldn't get any wood to finish it.
I was talking yo my OH about it last night because I priced up the wood I needed to make it from scratch and it came to nearly £70😱 and he suddenly chirped ....what about wallpaper paste tables? Ready made lol
So I did, cost me £30 for 3 tables, now all I need to do is make sides which I was going to make it from wood batons and square mesh...but then I though gizmo is good at climbing and he would probably climb out lol.
Any ideas? I might just have to use plywood but I wanted them to be able to see out, clear plastic was also an idea but it's quite expensive so don't think I can do that.

I’m not sure, it’s always difficult with a climber knowing just how high they are likely to climb? What about C&C cage squares attached to a baton of wood attached to the top of the paste table?

Yeah he tries to climb up the side of his cage now and that's a solid piece of wood,i dread to think that he would climb over the side ..I thought of that but for the amount I would need it wouldn't be cheap lol my shed is 8 ft long so I would need approx 19ft altogether to go all the way round😮and tbh he would probably try climbing over that.
I have tried to find mesh or grids with just vertical wire in them but can't find any.

That sound like a good idea! He wouldn’t be able to climb over if it overhangs him
I think I saw it on a program once, there was a couple that had a cat and it kept going off their balcony and annoying the neighbours so they said put a fence up with an overhang of 45° because animals can't get around and over it if you can picture it lol
I think it was my cat from hell lol
It worked for them.
