I know, I know, the first glimpse of sun and it goes to my head! :)) The girls arrived last August, so this question didn't arise last year, but I was just wondering what time of year it will be before the piggies are able to enjoy time on the lawn in their run? I know it won't be for months yet, but looking forward to the nice things that will happen as the spring and summer come is one of the things that keeps me going at this time of year!

If the weather continues like it is now then possibly the end of this month but more likely mid-April. You probably need to have several dry days with temperatures above 15'C but it will vary around the country.

May seems roughly the best time.

Around when the sun is hot enough and the ground not wet for roughly two weeks before you put them out.

That is so helpful, thank you. I know that they will really love getting back onto the lawn (and I'm sure the boys that we adopted 10 days ago will love it, too), but I obviously want to do it at the right time and in the right way.!
