i am ordering a new hutch soon it will come in about two few, the piggies have always been in a c&c cage in my room but it is cold in my room so they r use to the cold, when it comes when can i put them in, or should i put them in, in the day and then when they r use to it let them stay in there, also when i wash them i put a hot water bottle in there house so they are warm (i put a few towels over it so its not too hot) should i put that in there new hutch so if they r cold they have something warm to go. the hutch will be sheltered under trees and plants and the wind will not really be able to get in the hutch, i am only having them in there for he summer though in the winder they r back in my room,

heres the hutch I'm getting, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/5-x-2-x-4ft-D...ll_Animals&hash=item35b25722f0#ht_3606wt_1135

Looks like a great hutch ! I bring my guinea pigs in during bad weather , the winter and if they are ill . Our hutch is quite similar to yours and is in a sheltered part of our garden. I think they like the smells of outside and love it when they can get out. I'd recommend you buy a rain cover that fits over the hutch . Hope that helps :))
