Normally I clean out Barry's hutch once a week. Barry has a skin problem, I'm guessing its fungal but I don't know so I'm hoping to make an appointment for him to go to the vets tommorow. I know nothing about skin problems really so I don't know if whatever he has could be in his bedding? The bedding he has in his hutch is woodshavings. Normally I'd clean his hutch out every Sunday but as he's going to the vet tommorow should I do it today or in a few days when his skin is better so he doesn't get treatment then get the problem again because of his bedding?

When my pigs have gotten fungal infections i am extra vigilent with cleaning, i clean mine ordinarily every 2-3 days, if i was you i would do no less than twice a week until he is recovered, Fleece bedding would also help stop fungal breakouts in future if you are interested in that, many people with hutches use it.
Go on Gorgeous guineas website there products are greay for many piggy illnesses and you can also email chrissie with pictures for help if need be;) a vets opinion is still a very good idea, are the a piggy savvy vet?

Yes they were very good when I took my guinea-pigs in before. I can't really use fleece because I can't wash it very regularly. I'll look at the gorgeous guineas website thank you :)
