i am not around all day but i have noticed my piggies are active and the same time every day and sometimes when they get out in the run, all they do is sleep

do guinea pigs have a natural sleep pattern?

Phoebe - always has a mad half hour around 7pm where she runs round like a loonie jumping her tube and covering every inch of the run or cage

think my pair are party animals and are up all night i know when it was hot i dont cover up at night then partner came in at 5 they were chasing each other round pen then when i went out no where to be seen snoring

my girls sleep more than my boy

and he is growing much faster too and does more popcorning

does that mean anything?

As Phoebe is pregnant and Bridge misses her sooooo much i let them run together briefly

needless to say Bridge was very active

shame Phoebe was the wrong way round and got a face full of manhood

i read somewhere that they are more active at dawn and dusk as not so many predators around! ? in the wild though .

My gang are definetly very lively at dawn and early evening. I hear them start leaping around the cage from about 5.30am. Thats my first alarm call in the morning. Not so great at the weekends when I'm trying to have a long lie!

My piggies are most active in early morning and when it's dark out. Ivan jumps about an inch in the air and squeaks happily and Cookie runs around with him. They're so cute. :)

Mine are defo more active in the evening from about 7 to 9pm, they go absolutely bonkers :(|)
