When Do You Start With The Snuggle Pads?

I was chilly last night and I hope the girls were snuggled in the straw nice and warm.

When do you start putting the snuggle heat pads in the hutches? I would start from tonight but I don't want them to not be warm enough in December /January if they get used to the warmth now.

It's like the old saying "you won't feel the benefit if you keep your coat on inside!"

To true, l keep mine indoors , but as soon as the temp drops below 55f the heating is set to come on

Sorry I forgot that information! They are outside in insulated hutches full of straw. They've always lived outside and this is their 4th winter.

I know a few people on this forum who do monitor the temperature of their outside hutches. I never have myself. I really wish I could have them indoors but there is no place and they have been okay in the previous years
