Hi guys. Some of you may be aware that one of my boys went to the bridge a few months ago. I picked up 2 unofficial rescues (the glasgow 40), 1 of which also went to the bridge :(

Well I got my boy Alfonzo castrated 6 weeks ago and am introducing him to Senna now. They've been together for about 2 hours now and are pretty happy. Still some dominance chasing /mounting but less frequent and they're eating and lying next to each other for the most part. There haven't been any signs of aggression, minimal chattering.. Theyre talking to each other though :) I think I just spotted some ear nuzzling? They've been in separate cages next to each other for about 2 months before this and never had any signs of being territorial.
Obviously I know to thoroughly disinfect the cage and bowls etc, and I have brand new vet bed for them.

Any ideas on when I should put them in the same cage?image.webpimage.webp

You can put them in the cage anytime now. Acceptance has quite obviously happened. I would remove anything with just one exit at first, just to be on the safe side, but I wouldn't worry; it sounds like it is very much a case of piggy love!

Lol there are 2 available hides and they both chose to snuggle in that one (I took the ramps off so there are 3 exits). I'm really happy :) :)
