When do I call it?

My skinny has lost a lot of weight in a short period of time ( 2/3 of her weight). I took her to the vet and they gave me meds: anti inflammatory or antibiotics. She was on critical care and they gave her diarrhea which she then went on meds for that. She is falling over and looks weak when she walks. She’s eating but not like she was and not drinking at all. She’s getting lots of cucumbers and peppers so she is getting liquid from that. I stopped giving critical care bc I would have to basically shoot it down her throat. I have an apt tomorrow to possible put her down I just don’t know if I’m doing the right thing.

I have just come home from the vets after having had to make the decision to send my Begw to the Rainbow Bridge as the kindest thing I could do for her. It is at once the most loving and the most heart-breaking gift we can make a beloved one; but at least we have that option.

Speak to your vet and listen to your heart of hearts - it will know.
