I had just got my young boar. Ever since he began to be a companion to my other boar he just keeps wheeking. He has a full bowl, and some veggies.
But I think it is because he is young still?
Is there another reason for the wheeking?DSC_0040.webp

Is it loud like he is asking for food or slightly quieter? It can be a sign of submission to the other boar, is the other one rumble strutting while the young one wheeks? Is he showing submissive signs and ear nibbling, he could be showing he is no threat and is submissive. Mine also make noise when exploring so I can hear them as they make their way around the kitchen ands dining Room!

Oh, maybe that is the reason. He had started it about 15 minutes after they met and then my boar began to show dominate behavior. It isn't really loud, it is soft. It usually occurs when he is exploring my bedroom or when the other boar tries to show is dominant once more.

Younger piggies are often quite vocal especially when exploring, they are wandering around saying 'all is fine here' distress noises are shrieks and are quite different. If you have any concerns upload a video to youtube and share it here we will try and help with the noise

I think it's normal, mine are always making noise, then again there is 14 of them X

I also have a chatty pig. She wanders around and makes noise constantly.
I think some piggies are just more vocal than others, and it sounds like you got a noisy one.
