Whee have a mezzanine floor

Hi everyone whee have a mezzaning floor (well that's what mummy calls it)
It's real fun whee can zip up and down this ramp it has carpet on it and one side is a little ledge so whee don't fall off. Velvet has already chewed on it :)) awwwwwww Onyx so have you ! mmm yeah well i have i suppose, don't taste as good as that food whee keep finding up in our new upstairs part drool

Allan spent 3 hours building their mezz floor, it's got hinged up ramp and the whole thing is supported and hinged as well.
I'll try to get some pics soon, not that great at those things tho as you all know :red
I was worried they'd not like it BUT THEY LOVE IT !!!
you should hear their conversations they chatter and chut all the way up and down and then Onyx god forbid did a popcorn on the ramp i nearly had a fit, she was fine tho :...
Just had to share my happy news :)
 
Awww, sounds like they're loving it! Bless you, with Onyx popcorning on the ramp- bet your heart skipped a beat then! Can't wait to see piccies! x
 
AWWW - it sounds great!

Atleast now you know what your girls think of their ramps! Would have liked to be there... x)
 
lol, sounds as if they love it :) My OH is supposed to be building one for our boys, hmmmm, we'll wait and see lol!

OH and I are going to have a go at installing a piggie mezzanine here today too :D

well.........the girls have been waiting for a couple of months, whee had the promise but somebody (OH) has been busy going to the footy (both AFL and soccer) so as soon as he had free morning i grabbed him, actually he offered :)) bet he didn't think it would take so long tho :))

Good luck, it's stressful too as you worry that it's going to be safe, will they like it....... :{
Can't wait to hear about yours too, we'll compare notes 8:)

We still have to work out how to latch it up for cleaning :{

you are joking right? (shane)?! this thread is about building a second level in a guinea pig cage! (i.e. = a mezzanine)! lol
