Could i use a unscented wheat bad with skinny pigs to keep them warmer on the colder nights? i have been looking for a heat pack without gel or liquid and i am having great difficulty finding one. so i came across these and would like to know if they're safe to use with skinny pigs if you have any further info please leave it below, thank you :)

I know a lot of members on here use Snugglesafe Heat Pads, which are meant to hold their heat a lot longer than most other heat sources.

Hello - I'm not sure about wheat bags but it's true that many of us use these snugglesafe heat packs. They stay warm for 10 hours indoors. Here is a link.

The wheat heat pads i found did not retain heat for long,i had one for my cat.suggleheat safe pads are much better, put plenty of fleece over it,as well as the cover as skinny pigs have sensitive skin.

I use wheat bags a lot for the kids (they don't get too hot, are easy to make at home, and the kids can heat them themselves) but they don't stay hot for much more than an hour for a medium sized one. If you are looking for an entire night of warmth they are definitely not the best choice.

And they will chew the wheat bags too. The advantage of the snuggle safe is that they can't chew them...brucey bonus, along with the longer heating times.
