I work in boring retail, clothing side of things. Just had an interview for New Look as they're building a huge new store in town. Hope I get it as I don't like where I work now! Would like to start uni on a midwifery degree, but having a mortgage and 2 kids is restricting me at mo
Buyer for an aeroplane landing gear manufacturer ... but got an internal interview tomorrow for Project Manager :o
I've only been there just over a year and there's 7 others going for it so I probably won't get it but gotta try!
Sometimes I would love to move out of my area even thought I love my village as there isn't much employment round here especially in the nearest bus routed town :-\
But the thing is I have a carp bus service here and the last bus is so early so not good for wanting to work evenings. That's the annoying thing about living in the middle of nowhere..
Yep, I work in a pet shop - can't get much more animal-related than that ;D
I work with rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, degus, rats, gerbils, syrian/chinese/russian/roborovski hamsters, stick insects, hermit crabs, fish....and dogs, when customers bring them in to the shop! :smitten:
I work for an irish promotional print company. Basically we print scratchcards and also supply electronic equipment to arcades. I deal with all the UK customers.
On the plus side I get to speak to people with lovely Irish accents all day...
As for the animal side of it I'm the only girl in the office so the rest of them are all animals!
I'm studying for a degree in Nursing Studies and I'm in my last year, so hopefully (fingers crossed) I will be a qualified nurse by the end of the year! I specialise in working with people with Learning Disabilities
I also work on weekends, in people's homes who have Learning Disabilities, helping them to get out into the community and live their lives as much as possible and I love it.
