Come on tell all :P Now it's the halloween month what do you have planned? From trick or treating to sitting at home with the curtains and lights out!

22nd October I will be going to the alton towers scarefest, 31st will be a day of halloween baking, pumpkin carving, and filming a video for the Dan and Phil tour which I will be going to 3rd November, (apparently you need to show a video in order to meet them)

This year I plan on being woman in black, I have all the costume ready lol.

This month boyfriend and I watch loads of rubbish horror films, and some good ones too if we can find them.

I spend most of my free time reading spooky, scary and general horror books.

Boyfriend is off out on Halloween, hopefully fancy dress, so I'm thinking of treating myself to a few Halloween treats and settling down with a book. I don't like going out myself but I love seeing Halloween costumes, so it'd be cool if people posted pictures of themselves!

Halloween scares the heck out of me. I sit indoors curtains closed and pretend its not happening. I feel asif, everyone is doing Ouija boards and trying to raise the dead on that day/night which opens a gateway for unpleasant spirit's to get through.

I light candles, and hope that my spirit guides build a protective ora around me and my house.

I don't want to sound like a party pooper but my dislike for trick n treater's has grown since the years have gone by... Mums a teacher so obviously we get a lot of trick and treaters, which is fine.. If you under 10... Otherwise I just see it as begging, it really gets on my nerve when you have groups of 12+ going around on there own with no younger siblings trick n treating, go and buy your own sweets, is what I say.
With 2 black cats too I make sure they are indoors for atleast that night... People do horrid things to black cats, especially on Halloween.

Hope you had a nice time at Alton towers :) went there once before (when I was much younger) bit creepy! I will also make cakes, any excuse for a cake eh! Yum! Have fun!

My little girl absolutely loves Halloween so I will do what ive done every past year with her...... last year we had a party - never again! So back to the good old trick and treat thing! We usually go out for about an hour or so, she gets spoilt rotten, we live in a small village so most people know our faces, we decided to do party last year with games and everything but not only did it go on forever but the house got very cold with kids being in and out, I remember looking at the clock several times thinking "how much longer" not helped by the fact it was pissing it down!

I don't really 'do' Halloween either as it doesn't sit well with me spiritually but I am going to the Halloween owl evening at The Falconry Centre I volunteer at with my OH, the Sport_billys and some other friends and then back to ours afterwards for tea and cake and avoiding the local kids trick-or-treating..... (They won't get anything from me unless they do a decent 'turn' or have made an effort. 15 year olds in a bin bag and a mask after money, not sweets do not get my vote!)

The owl evening is an annual thing and one of my favourite nights, watching the owls fly in the dusk is rather special. Especially as it's one of the few times I get to see our beautiful Tawny Owl in action, she's not usually flying when I am working.... :D It's great.

I'm looking forward to the falconry show but I have been told we were going to yours for tea, cake and gin.

I'm lucky enough that as yet no one has come begging to my door - since I can't afford sweets for myself, no way would I be handing them out on demand to total strangers!

We don't get any knockers either, after last year we made such an effort with the window decorations and no show (think I made a thread on here actually with the photos) we will not be bothering this year!

Ooo :sly: Am I beginning to picture a horror movie here...
My thoughts also... I was thinking that was where I was going wrong.... I already live in a cul de sac so all I need to do is kill the streetlight outside, find a large scary dog to borrow and hide somewhere.... Sounds like a plan to me!

I remember last year I had to re light the pumpkin outside, and a little kid saw me walking past and ran towards my door, I quickly hid inside- I cannot have my identity seen...

It will be my daughters 3rd birthday! So we'll do something really nice as a family and maybe dress up for all the trick and treaters :-)

I'm into all horror and stuff but I just don't know whether I believe in spirits and what not?!

What is everyone else thoughts on spirits etc or any stories? (Sorry not trying to steal your post, just an appropriate time to ask!)

Hmm I'm not sure, I can find ghosts believeable but not zombies, vampires and all that.

I'm a spiritualist, so believe that spirits can communicate once they have passed. Ask me 10 years ago if I believed all that...I'd have laughed and said of course not its all rubbish!
Since then, I've seen a few things that simply can't be explained any other way :)

Can you communicate with them or have you just seen 'stuff' I find the paranormal interesting but am a sceptic on things like clairvoyancey....

I've seen things and have had what I believe to be a communication, I often see and feel my cousin (who was more like a brother) when something big has happened or when something is going to happen, like a warning. My Nan got ill last year and before it happened he told me Nan was ill and it was going to be a tough time and to be strong for her, anyway I told mum but kept it quiet from my grandparents, and then a month later my Nan was diagnosed with heart failure (thankfully she's okay now).

I think that people can be psycic, well I know they can, my mum and grandad use to talk to each other over the table in there head, use to drive Nan mad. I've actually been practising my psycic ability. My friend does tarrot card reading and can read peoples Ora's and stuff like that and we have quiet a strong psycic bond. I can often tell if she's upset before I've even spoken to her and things like that.

I don't know, I often know when bad things are going to happen and when something good is going to happen... I just need to practice more at being able to know exactly what they are.

Mate....that ghost goat...I'm A BELEIVER!!
