My OH and i butterfly spot, he used to breed tropical butterflies, and we also breed wild ones and let them go, it is so interesting and the children love it, it is so educational that my son school ask us to bring in caterpillars native to Kent so the children can watch the life cycle than let the butterflies?moths go.

Hmmm.... I don't know if these are 'anorakky' but I like to look at old buildings like really old churches in little villages, I like to look at really old gravestones, like the huge ornate ones, and I love the old fort / lookout buildings you find sometimes on beaches. Oh and I like to pick up shells from the beach and varnish them :)

but I like to look at old buildings like really old churches in little villages, I like to look at really old gravestones, like the huge ornate ones,

wow me too I find gravestones fascinating and I love anything to do with WW2 and 1940s my family lived in SE London so my grandparents told me so many stories, ::) last night i watched a history channel Battle of Britain 2 hour prog in bed much to hubbys disgust ;D I guess it reminds me of my nan and grandad who I adore and miss so much, all the old songs I was taught as well, like my old man on mother kellys doorstep etc God I sound ancient now ;)

I love rummaging in charity shops and those old junk shops and picking juicy dandelion leaves from peoples front gardens for my boys :P

Still trying to think if I have an anorak style hobby. I guess if I have to think this hard I probably don't have one ;D

I love butterflies and I always wanted to breed them too.

My anal hobby is su doku - especially fiendish and killer

Bird watching, I love it I have only been doing it for a little while. My favoruite duck is the Eider duck its what they used to make Eiderdowns (like Duvet) from their feathers. They are brilliant they can dive under water and the males are very handsome colours!

I paint fantasy models, which a lot of people think is quite sad! :P

I also am a bit of a trinspotter, but only the London Underground, I am fascinated by its history, architecture etc. I'm hoping to do some work on it parallel to my Masters, but don't know if I will have the time. Why aren' there more hours in the day?

I love looking round old buildings and when we go on holiday I always make sure theres plenty of history stuff to look at, as it fascinates me - but I suppose another hobby would be scrapbooking and also making movies of my on line gaming on the PC lol

God reading that back I sound so sad :(

I used to go trainspotting with my parents when I was younger, but I don't go anymore :D I don' think I really have an anorakky style hobby. :-\

I actually think it's a lovely place. People tend to think it's freaky, but it's a place where they rest and I find it soothing :)

Aww sounds great ;) A pond/lake thing near us has lots of ducklings on it at the moment too, so cute!

driving through a village the other day we all saw a mother duck walking on the path with her 6 ducklings while the 2 male ducks were trying to get across the road, we are a civilised lot here and everyone was stopping to let them cross I love ducks especially females we went back to the village on monday and went into a place called Arreton barns where they have a 1600 church and a very old graveyard and a hugh koi pond where the ducks come from a hugh heron was sitting watching the water and a female duck was being chased by other ducks no doubt the village gossip they had had enough of lol the koi were hugh and the water just moved with them, cant see how the heron could have lifted one to be honest, I am definatly a country girl and love anything to do with the countryside ,
