Well ever since i got my new piggies (They were from the same litter and housed together before i bought them), they've been making these weird noises, its like tiny little wheeking noises. They've been sleeping apart and everytime Ginny (One of my pigs) goes to the water, food or tries to go in the house with Hattie, Hattie makes and very high pitched squeak and she pushes her away. No blood has been drawn, that i know of, no damage is visible.

They are around 8 weeks old, so is it dominace, or are they just not happy together? Can you help, i don't know what to do, because it looks like they're going to hurt each other sometimes.. :...

EDIT: Also, everytime either of them step outside the shelter they are under, they making those wheeking noises with every step they take..

Thats what they do, they wheek a lot its communication between them or could be at you if you are about to feed them.

If they are going to have a fight they will circle one another and have a stand off before going in for a nip or too. They will also teeth chatter which is a sign of aggression.

It does sound like one is being more dominant over food and water, I would give two of everything so the less dominant pig gets her fair share.

Its natural to worry being a new guinea pig owner, but it just sounds like normal guinea language to me. :)

It may be a good idea to have 2 food bowls and 2 water bottles, just incase one is pushed away by the other.

i picked my two up on sunday boys brothers they are 7 weeks. they were doing the same one stop went in bed other slept downstairs every time freddie went to get in basil wheek and freddie ran we thought we would have to buy another igloo but today i went and both popped heads out of igloo so that saved me money
