Whats the very best bedding?

Just received a cage similar to the C&C cage in the mail. Just wondering what is the best bedding to use on the floor of the cage? And for those using fleece and towels, do you wash them in the same washer as your clothing? Not sure how my hubby would feel about that being that we have a newborn and i wash his clothes in there.

I wash all my rats hammocks in the wash but they go into old pillow cases tied with a shoe lace.separately from our clothes. So you could do the same with the piggies fleece n towels.
