Yes its 100% polyster (I think), you get it from Primark ect! B & M Bargains..

Above is my Santa fleece

Do you mean towels? No towels are generally made from cotton, fleece absorbs the wee, and then I have towels under the fleece, but shall soon be changing from using towels cause they stink. Fleece is bed throws etc!

B & M Bargain, Primark....

Washing machine, shake off excess hay, food etc obviously before putting it in. Also wash it 3 times before using it and Do NOT use fabric softner :)

All largish supermarkets sell fleece throws quite cheap, as does Primark etc. You can also buy it by the metre from fabric shops but this tends to be a bit more expensive.

Unless said fabric shop is selling off an end of roll then you can usually get a lot really cheaply :(|)

To address your question... I use towels under, it doesn't stink for me but is quite bulky so I'm looking at alternatives. IKEA sells large fleece bed spreads if you have a large cage. Normal sized fleece throws are cheaper other places.

lol i can't really give you any more info on what it is, it's all been said! :)) My guinea pigs live in an outdoor hutch in my shed. They have sawdust and hay for bedding, but i'm thinking of changing to fleece. Anyone who can post names of shops or websites where it is available from would be a great help to me also! :(|)

Same with me!

I've found that Asda or Primark are the cheapest (and fleeces from Primark usually come in funky colours!) I bought my girls a new fleece yesterday which is striped in shades of pink and it cost me less that £2.50, Bargain!

So how thick is it?

Not very thick at all. I have a fleece throw drying right next to me on an airer and I can actually see through it (with the sun shining into the room). To be honest, my piggies prefer it thin (they hated Vetbed, which is thick stuff).

I got a fleece throw from Sainsburys yesterday, bit more expensive than the other places, it was £4 but it's not too expensive. Just be careful not to get the blankets that are really thick/fluffy, because guinea-pigs can get their feet caught in them.
