We already have 2 plastic water bottles on the hutch outside, one is a rotastack and the other a classic, but when i have tried them with the ferplast they seem to be a little high.
Are there any bottles out there with a longer spout? Also quiet bottles would be ideal if there is such a thing! ;)

The glass ones have long spouts (about £6 in pets at home) supposed to be quiet too

I use a coop cup (which is silent!) as one of my pigs liked swinging on the water bottle and emptying it everywhere. It's pretty high up, the pigs stand on their hind legs in the hay tray with their paws on the side on the side of the bowl to drink but it doesn't bother them. The disadvantage is they do occasionally flick poop and hay into it but I change it twice a day so it's usually clean.

If the problem is that it is too high then could you not put a box or brick underneath for them to stand on?

in australia * can get blue bottles that the end of them has a pressure part that makes it so it cant leak and helps the noise too try looking to see if your country has them too

Gave in and went to p@h. I got two of the superpet glass ones, one woth a carrot inside and one with a rubber ducky :) Glad to say all the piggies they had looked to be in fairly good health and had some veg to eat :)

Just a few tips for glass bottles. They are great for piggies (they drink more) but the screwing the spout can be a pain. I found the one I had was much stiffer to take off than the classic bottles and they do have a washer in the part that screws to the bottle that can fall out. Other than that I had no problems.
