What to use under vetbed

Currently using paper which isn't the best. I want something nice and easy and was thinking of placing a towel under it.

Anyone used a towel before and how good was it.

I use newspaper then a towel under my vet bed, its much easier to use than just newspaper as it tended to stay wetter longer so needed the absorbancy of the towel.

Looking at mattress pads.

Anyone used them, as they look ideal.

There are people who use them under fleece and say theyre great so I assume they would work well under vet bed too

Well going to order some tomorrow, will update how I get on and maybe save more time cleaning.

Read the reviews and they seem too good to be true.
