As wood is very smooth I have fleece covers for my ramps but Annabelle finds it too slippy and is worried about climbing the ramp. They are getting new hutches this week and I can't think what to use to make the ramp grippy for their little paws. Carpet would be grippy but not easy to clean, lino is easy to clean but not grippy. Does anyone have any good ideas as to what I can use?

I use thin, cheap, washable doormats available in supermarkets, cut them to size and stick them to the ramp with double sided tape (you can also use velcro). They give the best grip in my experience.

i buy this stuff from the pound shop that is almost like rubber, but you can wash it. It comes in pieces about the size of a tea towel.

The cheapest rubber car mats you can find, cut to size and stuck on with double sided tape. Easy to remove and clean and a good grip for cavies small paws.

at first i used a really long sock, stuffed with hay with holes cut in it to entice the jinnywigs up and down the ramp, but then i got a tunnel ramp from cosy cavies, they love it and *** it's a tunnel it's safe so they can't fall off x

I had thought about cutting door mats my worry is if they would fray in the wash and fall apart. Has anyone had this problem or are they ok?
