I decided to bring the piggies inside afterall ! but the room I want to put them in has carpet, so what do you suggest i put on the floor to stop any leaks ? lino ?
I was going to use our run 3ftx4ft with fleece flooring (but need something under the fleece) then with an igloo type house and a tunnel etc..

Lino, tarp? Something like that. With Lino you could cut and bend it up like a box lip right round so no poop or mess gets kicked out. (does that make sense?)

Good for you! I'm the same - I had a massive hutch / run built and then brought them indoors! I have 2 fosters living in there for now but going to bring them in after my holiday too.

Soft aren't we?

dont think hubbys going to be too impressed but I'm suure he'll come round lol

shame they dont do a big 3ftx4ft tray lol ! ok will get a lino off cut

thanks

also the fleece is it just normal fleece blanket ? as i have loads from the kids when they were babies !

Hi,
Do you have a Dunelm Mill store near you? Or a similar fabrics store? The Dunelm Mill near me sell clear plastic sheeting from a massive roll, I think its a couple of quid a metre. I've got about 4square meters of the stuff which I put down under a fleece then put their run on top of that. We rent our flat so thought it was best to protect the laminate floor from piggie stains!
Or lino would work just as well I imaagine :) Dunelm also sell waterproof lino-esque table coverings with pretty patterns which I imagaine would do a similar job to lino flooring.
Plus as a bonus Dunelm Mill is great for browsing and going "ooooooh I want thaaaat!"

thanks, but we're going for the correx, just waiting for a sign company to get back to me with a price !
