I have 2 babies i had given me,i was told they were 8 weeks old but i have been told that they are only about 4 weeks. They were in a hutch but they didnt seem to be eating anything or drinking,i have now bought them indoors to keep an eye on them.Is there anyone out there that can give me some advice pls,i seem to the dumping ground for piggies noone wants anymore,i lost one 2 weeks ago i dont want to loose anymore. :-\

Aww hope they are ok. I would offer all the usual stuff and if they arn't eating mash some pellets and feed off a tea spoon handle or critical care if you have it. Perhaps get the to a vet to check for any underlying problems if they aren't eating. Hope they are ok. :smitten:

sorry 2 hear your having problems

have you tried some fruit? mine really like banana and apples or a few grapes cut in half. you could also try cucumber as it has lots of water in it for them

i am not sure if there is anything special you could try as they are so young, but someone else might know

hope all goes well

here in oz we have wombaroo who makes milk supplements for animals including guinea pigs, perhaps see if you can get some from your vet. you could for now keep them warm and offer small amounts of veggies or mash up some pellets and add babyfood puree like apple to sweeten the deal. try to also offer water to prevent dehydration.
perhaps if you mention where you live someone may live close by who could help you. would also suggest going to the vet if they are not eating. good luck and keep us posted on how they go :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: sorry for your lost of a few weeks ago :'( :'( :'( RIP little angel. 0:) 0:) 0:) perhaps also get a teddy bear or something similar for them to cuddle up too.
