My female guinea pig (Aziza) passed away about a week ago, and her male companion (Jasper) is now alone. My family isn't capable of bringing in another guinea pig to care for at the moment. I don't want Jasper to be alone but I can't take in another pig. I don't know what to do. Should I rehome him with someone with more guinea pigs? Or should I just give special care and attention to him? I feel the best option is to rehome him, but I don't even know where to go to make sure he has a good home. Help!

I’m sorry you lost your girl. Well done for thinking about what’s best for your boy. The best you can do for him is to surrender him to a rescue so he can be bonded with another piggy. Piggies are very social so it wouldn’t be fair to keep him alone. Below is a link to some rescues. Hopefully you’ll be able to find one close to home. But please be prepared to drive a little way. Good luck.

Hi and welcome!

I am very sorry for your loss.
Human Bereavement: Grieving, Coping and Support Links for Guinea Pig Owners and Their Children

It is always a very difficult situation when you are left with one remaining guinea pig. More and more rescues have become aware of the dilemma and may offer help from accepting surrenders to temporary adoptions for the remaining life time of your piggy but a return to rescue after the death.
Your options very much depend on what you have within your reach.

You can find more helpful information on how to look after single guinea pigs in a range of situations, including bereaved ones in these two guide here; including how to spot when this is becoming a problem:
