Piggly
_
Some of you probably already know that I used to own two boy piggies, Reggie and Eddie, and with Reggie having sadly passed away recently this left Eddie by himself.
The simple solution is boar dating... however... he has been boar dating this week, and I had a feeling his personality would be too much for any boar to deal with. In a normal situation I would just take him boar dating again at a later date. However, I think his personality is simply not going to win him any male friends. He is a dominant pig, and is insistent on reaffirming this constantly. He barely got along with Reggie, suggesting that he may not be able to settle with another male at all.
Rather than taking him boar dating again which may waste time where he is stressed out being alone at home, and stressed out sniffing bums with boars who can't get along with him, I think the best solution is to get him neutered and find him a pair of wifepigs. A pair would be best so he doesn't focus all of his behaviour on one pig.
However this is in territory I'm uncertain of, and so need the opinion of those more experienced with going down these roads of neutering to introduce a male to female company. Anyone have any thoughts?
