hello,
I'm trying to find the cheapest place to find correx (will probably go with teacrate packaging) but I'm not sure what the width of the sheet should be? the ones on the website are 2mm thick, would that be ok? i dont want it to be too thin or snap :P
thaankks:)x

One thing to consider with the 2mm correx (apart from strength) is scoring it. If you are just scoring half way through to fold it up then if you are 1mm out and score 2mm instead of 1mm you've cut right through (hope this makes sense).

Worth weighing this up against the price. I'm not saying its not okay just worth considering. I know I'm not the most careful person so went for 4mm in my cage but if you're careful and have enough strength within the cage it could be fine for you.

HTH

I bought an 8ft x 4ft sheet of 2mm correx from Travis Perkins for about £7. Builders use it to protect newly laid floors. I just rolled the sheet up a bit to get it in my car. :)

I wanted 4mm but tea crate had 2mm for £3.98 a sheet and the cheapest I found 4mm was at least £12 a sheet so I bought 2mm, so far so good but I think next time I would try and shop around more for 4mm.

I have a double storey set up, 2 pairs of boars living seperately in each layer and what I did with the upstairs flat is put the correx on a sheet of chip board which I cable tied to the top of the downstairs flat (pic below)
It's not too flimsy though so you should be fine.
