My girls are indoor pets and have been cooped up for about 10 months now due to the awful weather, I am itching to get them back outside. Poor things are so bored and there's no room indoors for floor time, luckily they have a big cage but it's not the same.

As well as everything in the great link above added by piggieminder, I also add towels, a cosy bed and a heat pad when putting them out in the slightly chilly weather on the grass. This way they have somewhere warm to run to snuggle in. I would also make sure the sun is out!
I think the main points are to keep them dry and at a steady temperature.
Mine love to watch what’s happening in the garden :)

Mine are outside piggies so it's slightly different for them as they are used to outside temperatures. I haven't put mine on the grass yet as the ground is still a bit damp. When it's a nice day I pop them on the patio on an old duvet with the run on top. I also put in hideys and tunnels and snugglies to keep them warm.:)

Inpsired!.webp
